Anna-Maria Nabirye Executive Producer/Performer/ Writer
Anna-Maria is co-founder of Hopeless Productions
and a professionally trained actor. Hailing from
the mean streets of Mill Hill (aka The Green
Belt) Anna-Maria has had to arm herself with a
witty, self-assured arsenal from growing up in a
migrant family in a posh middle class area. She
first trained at The Brit School "where everyone
made their clothes from bin liners in order to
express their creativity and individuality" then
at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts(in Wood
Green) "where it wasn't so cool to dress in bin
bags" Between the two she worked as a MacDonalds
2 Star server, an outdoor activity instructor in
Cornwall, a clown, a London Eye Capsule host to
mention a few, so therefore made the natural
progression to performance and production. At
present she is working with co-founder Dan

Daniel Carter-Hope Writer/Performer/Musical/Director
Dan was born in Kent, but grew up in Lancashire, being Brazilian while at Liverpool University. To beaches of Ipanema. Dan has worked as a haunted house ghost, English teacher, and travelled the world on cruise ships trying to sell overpriced enough to be extremely boring about more than fifty countries. Dan is a self-taught musician who forgot to teach himself some of the important
bits, but has nevertheless accumulated a large collection of weird and wonderful stringed
instruments. He is happiest on electric bass and Dan writes and performs for Punk Science, as well
